AMC's The Walking Dead is an exciting zombie apocalypse show. The zombie show airs on Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. In The Walking Dead, the writers convey the zombie world after an epidemic spreads quickly, turning the living into the walking dead.
The Walking Dead creates major conflict between the characters. In the one situation, you have a wife that sleeps with the best friend, only to discover that her husband is now alive. Then, the wife finds out she is pregnant, but she is afraid the father of the baby is possibly the husband's best friend. We never see the husband sleep with his wife since he is always busy leading the group of misfits into battle against the "walkers",
In another situation, the best friend is responsible for killing another guy whose family respected him the most. The temporary quarters provides Rick and company a safe haven to avoid the walking dead. Shane suppresses the nightmare of sacrificing Otis to save Karl. His secret is troubling enough to start a mutiny between the two groups. The lone Asian character Glenn scores a 11 minute steamy session with Maggie, the hottest brunette in the zombie world. Nonetheless, Maggie's father doesn't approve of Glenn.
A young girl is still missing after a few days. The long search puts Rick's young boy in harm's way. Will the group call off the search? Or can we expect to see the girl walking into the farm as a flesh-eating zombie? Glenn discovers a group of walkers trapped in a barn. The Walking Dead conflict keeps adding layers to the storyline. Hence, the emotional structure creates intense conflict in every scene.
What will we see next? Will Sophie finally turn up as a zombie or as a living human? The Walking Dead episodes remind me of the Saving Private Ryan movie. Should the group sacrifice the strongest people to save one little girl? Darryl thinks his life is worth sacrificing to save Sophie. Shane believes otherwise, that risking their lives to save Sophie is too risky. The Walking Dead show captures the real-life horror of a zombie apocalypse. We don't know what surprise will break out next week.
Tune in next week to watch AMC's The Walking Dead on Sunday at 9p.m.
